🛕 1. Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir

🔸 About: One of the most famous Hanuman temples in India. Believed to be established by Saint Tulsidas, the author of Ramcharitmanas. Devotees believe that Hanuman ji here removes (sankat) all obstacles and brings peace.

🔸 Specialties: Tuesday & Saturday see large crowds – special aartis & rituals. People offer laddoos and boondi, a favorite of Lord Hanuman. Strong spiritual vibrations; ideal for quiet prayer or chanting Hanuman Chalisa.

📍 Location: Near BHU, Lanka area

⏰ Timings: 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM

🏰 2. Ramnagar Fort (Ramnagar Qila)

🔸 About: Built in the 18th century by Kashi Naresh Raja Balwant Singh. Located on the eastern bank of the Ganges, opposite Tulsi Ghat. Made of red sandstone, it reflects Mughal-style architecture.

🔸 Attractions: Museum inside the fort has vintage cars, royal palanquins, arms, manuscripts, and old clocks. Durbar Hall – royal court used by the king. Hosts the Ramnagar Ramlila, one of the largest and oldest Ramlilas in the world (during Navratri).

📍 Location: Across the river from Tulsi Ghat

🎫 Ticket: ₹20–₹50 (for museum)

🛕 3. Durga Mata Mandir (Durga Kund Mandir)

🔸 About: Also called Durga Kund due to the sacred pond (kund) next to the temple. Built in the 18th century by a Bengali queen. The idol of Maa Durga appeared on its own (Swayambhu).

🔸 Architecture: North Indian Nagara-style architecture. Bright red color symbolizes power and protection.

🔸 Rituals & Beliefs: Very crowded during Navratri. Locals believe that Maa Durga protects the city from evil forces.
